With the assistance of occupational therapists and parents of special needs children we have designed affordable, easy to remove covers and caps for all of our Autism & Special Needs Furniture products. Individuals with autism and special needs often need further protection from spills and leaks, and with these covers you can protect your furniture for years to come.
The Oversize Hug Chair & Crash Pad can have a removable zippered cover in either microfiber or velvet fabrics. All of our removable covers are machine washable, durable, and resistant against even the worst spills and stains. Please note that in order to get the water-resistant liner upgrade to any piece of furniture, a separate cap or cover must be ordered. The water-resistant upgrade is not available by itself.
For The Oversize Hug Chair & Crash Pad Cover the water-resistant liner upgrade can be added in two ways. If you plan on using the pillow flat in the Crash Pad configuration then the water-resistant liner will be on the side of the cover, which becomes the upper face when flat on the ground. If you plan on using the pillow upright in the Hug Chair configuration then the water-resistant liner will be on the top hemisphere of the cover instead.
Cover systems can be ordered individually here as an accessory for your previously purchased Autism & Special Needs Furniture. Please note the cover does not include the Pillow ChairĀ - The Oversize Hug Chair & Crash Pad itself must be purchased separately.
*Note - If you have a water-resistant liner upgrade it is important to wash/dry on low or no heat. High heat can damage the liner and compromise it's ability to repel moisture.
